I would dearly LOVE a little pocket Kindle, but I'm willing to bet I'm in the minority. And while bigger screens might appeal to some people, I think most people prefer small and lightweight. Which explains why Kindles keep getting smaller, thinner and lighter.
I imagine Amazon has focus groups that help them to know what readers really want.

I would say most people can read on current 6" screens, but think they would feel a lot more comfortable with a larger screen size.
Most people actually jave no opinion on screen size.
But most would think larger is more readable.
If you like smaller, have you tried the Jetbook mini?

Reads only few file formats, and has no glo light.
It's also no eink either, reflective tft, but very portable, and should last a week or so on rechargeable batteries.
