I've had no problems using it with KePubs, but with ePubs after I have switched to Kobo Tsukushi Mincho and then try to switch to other fonts I have various problems such as the font not changing, the book closing when I try to turn the page, and when I re-open the book it is still set to Kobo Tsukushi Mincho.

The problems go away after powering off and rebooting, until the next time I select Kobo Tsukushi Mincho in an ePub and then they start again.
I am having the same problem on my Glo.

IMHO, Kobo UD Kakugo font is a Japanese typeface and Kobo Tsukushi Mincho is a Chinese typeface. Probably that may be the reason for erratic behavior of Kobo, while using these fonts for English text. I could not test these fonts with Japanese or Chinese texts, as I don't have books in these languages.

If these fonts do not have a system usage, it may probably be removed using GeoffR's method suggested in post #64 of 'Index to the Metazoa firmware patches', for removing OpenDyslexic from device. I don't know what happens after removal.
