In the past few weeks there have been Amazon e-reader software releases that improve the capabilities of enhanced typesetting (KFX format) so that it is available for a larger group of books. (K4iOS v4.15 12/7, Fire OS v5.1.1 11/19, K4Android v4.18.0 11/17) I suspect that an update for e-ink kindles to do the same is imminent and that it will also include a fix for the vulnerability that is exploited by the jailbreak.
