If I was reading a paper book, for many years,
before the arrival of ereaders, my non-reading
friends (most of them,in fact) would generally
comment 'How do you find the time to read like
that?'
I used to point out to them, that the amount of
time that THEY spent, on watching sport, or
pursuing their own hobbies/interests,was the
equivalent time that I spent, in reading.I do
not watch any sport, as it holds no interest
whatsoever for me.
Way over the heads of most of them. So now,
with my ereader, I just tend to ignore the remarks
and continue reading. I can tune out most forms
of 'interference' if I have a good read on the go!
