When you converted via kindlegen how did you do it?
My process is:
In calibre run edit book and fix any errors found.
Save epub and run flightcrew epub checker.
Fix any errors found.
Save book as epub in kindlegen folder then turn it into a mobi.
Import into calibre and directly send to kindle (dont re-convert or anything you dont need to).
This is my last resort and has never failed me so far.
