This is encouraging. Presumably this means that they are going to pay more attention to their pricing and keeping it competitive, and aren't going to just rely on refunding money to the people who both bothered to check competitors and thought it was worth the trouble to not just shop the other guys instead.
Hopefully they don't wind up claiming Amazon doesn't count, because it's not "identical," being a different format. Also don't like that they only let you put a link to the competitor's page--given how prices can fluctuate and sales end, by the time they get around to checking it, who knows what the price will say?

When Amazon does a price match, they do it the same way (For books). You input a page and after two or three days, they may match it. Sometimes it takes up to two weeks. Amazon doesn't refund necessarily; you can report the lower price and wait for them to match. If you already bought it, you'd have to return it and wait for the lower price.
