I have a couple of 8" Android tablets with that same screen resolution as well as one that's full HD. I can tell the difference when reading plain text, for example in the Kindle app, although I don't use these for reading since I have a Kindle. Other than that it's very hard to see any difference. Videos look equally good on all of them. Reading while browsing the web is a bit easier on the full HD one but not much.
The only time the difference really matters a lot is when reading comic books, something I don't do much of. The full HD makes a big difference there.
