I just had to return a kindle book I bought in the harlequin sale. I hadn't noticed that the wrong book is in the file. I wanted Julie Miller's "One good Man" and what I got was "One Good Man" by Charlotte Douglas. The author is listed as julie miller and I had it in the wishlist, so I didn't pay attention. The cover though and the actual book is the other author. Weirdness.
Pretty sure I heard about Julie Miller in this thread so I thought I'd try one. Bummer.
I also got a free book from harlequin. I got all exited when Blossom mentioned Pocketbook as I found out on the Kindle Fire, it imports a few of the kindle fonts in that are not on my android phone. Palatino and baskerville, georgia and another. Not caecilia unfortunately or the bookerly font.
But, when I finally after lots of fiddling figured out how to get the book in the app, its right ragged. I find no setting in this reader app either for full justification. Is this common for all these epub reader apps to have just right ragged? It looks horrible. Now what.
. I am about to give up. Book was free with the points, so no big loss, but still.
Going back reading my easy to open kindle book now. So glad I have a kindle and that was the choice I made in 2008. I would have pulled all my hair out by now over the years trying to make the other formats work.
