I might do koreader.
But at the moment, I'll read the free ebooks from the store, until I've read most of them.

I just have very sensitive eyes. I can't stand bright light at night. Even my projector has to be calibrated very precisely, or I don't want it (Eg: in a dark bedroom with white walls, I can't have 500 ANSI lumen projector, or my eyes feel annoyed very easily.
I also set monitors most of the time to minimum brightness.

300ANSI lumen works well in pitch black, but considering that there are projectors with 1200 ansi lumen...
Even a computer monitor with 300 nits can be overly bright in a dark room (unless watching TV, then 200 lumen is ok).

But for browsing, or reading black text on white background, 200 lumen is good enough for me during the day, and less than 35 lumen at night.

My cellphone too, I have installed an app to make the screen darker at night; because the minimum setting on my samsung hurts my eyes at night.
