Thank you Tox and Hitch for your informative posts. Hitch, I haven't sent the book of yet, and now I probably won't. I'm just not prepared for the kind of effort this will entail. The book I want to have scanned (Memoirs of an Invisible Man) will probably never make it to ebook. Heck, it's even out of print now, has been for years.
I've just started to re-read it again and have discovered how spoiled my kindle has made me. Crisp text at a font size I choose, what a great idea. My old eyes are not enjoyed reading the text in this pocket book.
