Another idea I will probably never get around to doing.
Just offered for anyone that might be interested.
Not intended to be specific to the K5, but to any touchscreen device.
Could a 'sight hound' be trained to use a touchscreen device?
Note 1: a 'sight hound' is not necessarily a hound (but this one is), just any dog that is oriented to using their sight rather than scent or sound as their primary information input.
Note 2: most dogs ignore the information gathered by their eyes, those eyeballs are just used to dress-up the face.
Note 3: I wrote: 'not necessarily a hound' because some aren't by nature, plus I have found that a dog can be trained to use sight information.
You have to start early, like, really, really, early. As soon as they can walk with their eyes open.
Note 4: Many 'authorities' claim that a dog's sight is primarily grayscale and that some have better night vision than cats.
What would be my example hound is one of the Pointer breeds (which are sight hounds).
Thoughts anybody?
Anybody in Central Texas need a big, dark red, bird dog? This one needs a home. PM me.
