Microsoft no longer supports XP. You might want to think of moving on as well.
There are options...
- Install Linux Mint. MS might not support old hardware with modern software, but linux does.
- Buy a cheap new/semi-used computer for ~$100.
- Curse in despair as more and more software stops supporting XP.
Since MS doesn't support XP, I guess Qt5 decided they don't have to either. Unfortunately for XP users, Qt5 is a popular open-source GUI toolkit, used by a number of programs
including this one.
Nothing to be done unless Qt5 decides to start supporting XP.
