I have tried that amend, but it didn't seem to make any difference.
Nickel or Coolreader will give me 3 weeks between charging, Koreader gives me no more than 5 days because of large, inconsistent power drains during sleeping - on both my Glo and H2O (both now on KSM8). Using a Sleepcover makes it worse - I have seen the unit light switching on and off whilst I am carrying it with the cover closed. Coolreader has a setting which seems to honour disabling the Sleepcover.
I remain hopeful that someone will post a reliable fix but, in the meantime, I read my Epubs on Coolreader and am liking the personalisation of tap and swipe gestures.
