Oh, but everyone knows that heights only feel like HEIGHTS when there is a connection between you and the bottom. That's why I stand 6 ft back from the edge of a tall building or a cliff. But an airplane ( OR A REINDEER PULLED SLEIGH ) makes the ground just seem like toy cars and trees and stuff. You feel disconnected with the ground; hence, no fear!
At least, not fear of *heights*. Landing, maybe......
