Picked up the PW3 at Best Buy today. Just set it up and loaded a book. No issues with endnotes or wasted header and footer space. I'm sold.
Last night I read on the NGP and once I accepted I wasn't going to use the endnotes, the reading experience was great. The hardware for NGP is fine, too bad BN is so far behind Amazon in terms of sofware though. I prefer the look and feel of the NGP far more than the PW3. But the PW3 just seems so much easier....Endnotes work, great use of all screen space, there's a lot more background info on book available. I even like the way end/footnotes are shown--no need to go to the back of the book and tap on the number to return.
I'll read the same book on the PW3 tonight and see how some serious time on it goes. But I have a feeling the NGP is going back in the box and to BN store pretty soon...
