Glowlight Plus ePub support

Was just reading the nook subreddit and someone was claiming that the nook did not support sideloaded ePubs and a software update was coming in December to add suport for sideloaded ePubs (non-DRM), and ADE ePubs and PDFs.

I don't see how the Glowlight+ wouldn't support ePubs out of the box, since that's the format B&N sells their books in. But I figure it can't hurt to ask.

Has someone sideloaded an ePub and gotten it to work?
