The strange thing is, if I let Calibre make a duplicate cover, I don't get this 'spilling over' but I don't really want two covers. I am getting around the duplicate cover by choosing the 'remove first page' option as I already defined the cover image in Sigil.
To clarify, these are kids picture books and each and every page is a jpeg with the text as part of the image.
