I feel for you because LRF/LRX were an awful mess and the LRX DRM was never broken so you will have to lose them when you move to a different Reader. LRF can be converted to ePub, but will need editing afterwards. So convert in Calibre and edit with Calibre's eBook editor.
After the X50 line from Sony, even Sony dumped LRF/LRX. Do yourself a favor and forget them. Move to ePub. Newer Readers have a much better version of RMDSK (ADE) and a much better screen with a very nice front light for reading in the dark or in dim light. Don't keep what will eventually bite you in the ass as no other brand Reader supports this. The t1, T2, & T3 all dumped LRF/LRX. so do yourself a huge favor and go ePub as you will be able to keep what you have without the need to convertwhen you do eventually switch for a Kobo.
As for page numbers, it is very easy to get used to ADE page numbers. So I suggest a Kobo Aura H2O or Kobo Glo HD depending on what size you want.
