Well, sorry for not knowing Jon is Jewish.
I don't recall ever being given a reason to think he is Jewish, but I know he likes to get upset on other peoples' behalf, and I assumed this was yet more of the same.
So I jumped to a(n IMHO reasonable) conclusion, given my knowledge, and I was wrong.
