I am retired and I read almost everyday. I am not a fast reader so it can take me a week to a month to finish a book. But I am always reading between 4 and 6 books at a time. I find that when I first start a book I will only read a chapter then put the book down. But once I have only about 30% of the book left to read I will read it until it is finished.
A lot of what I read is the Bible, and Bible studies.
I started reading the Tom Clancy Jack Ryan series about a year ago and finished the series and now I am reading the Jack Ryan Jr. series and only have 2 books left. And I also read the John Clark series, but most of his series is in the Jack Ryan series.

And once I finish a book I find that I need to take a break for a few days before starting another book.
