You mean overall author earnings? I had 3 books in the program for a short time and yes, during that time, my earnings dropped on Amazon significantly. Other authors report the opposite. I don't know if it has to do with putting all your books in the program, time of year (more people read in the summer? Winter?) or some other factor(s). It was not a success for me, but other authors have said their books were "discovered" by readers by getting into the program. I had more borrows via SCRIBD on a monthly basis than I did while in Amazon's program.

I don't think it's genre dependent as there are authors in every genre having success with the program--and also those who have had no luck with it.
