I don't know what is correct. I don't have enough knowledge regarding batteries to determine that.
If a battery degenerates faster when you charge it often, you would be right.
If it just degenerates at the same rate, regardless if you charge it or not, then I'm right.
The one thing I do know from experience however, is that a battery will degenerate very fast and eventually become dead if you keep it charged all the time OR don't ever charge it (leave it lying around empty).
