I was saying that my disappointment comes from blowing my chance to get it for $30 less. Amazon had them on sale (for Prime members) right around the time I was planning to order, but I purposely held off because I thought a new version might be released (just in case I wanted that one instead).
But by the time I realized the rumor wasn't true, the sale was over and I'd missed my chance to get it at sale price.

I did (and can) understand that. However, do think about the fact that batteries start to decline as soon as they're produced. If you'd buy three Kindles, the battery of the third one would probably be completely useless by the time you get to using it. And then, the device is so old that there's a chance that you may not even be able to get a replacement battery for it.
