Wow. I'm speechless. That sounds like something an 18 yr old would believe. I could understand if you were referring to eyesight failing, but even that only effects the ability to read small print. But you actually said older people aren't able to enjoy much of ANYTHING anymore. Just...wow.

Thank you! I may not be able to enjoy mountain climbing two decades from now, but good grief...reading?

Sorry to burst your misinformed bubble, Tony, but most of the country is run by "old" people.

I come from a long line of intelligent family members who lived well into their 90's and died with their minds still sharp as tacks. And while I wear glasses for distance, my near vision is 20/20, as well as my mother, who's approaching 90 and still a voracious reader.
