Books on the SD card should just be added to the internal library. A few seconds after you first insert it, a black processing should be displayed. This shows the progress as the books on the card are added to the library. If this isn't displayed, then the books won't be seen on the device. If the processing doesn't complete, some or all of the books on the card won't be seen.

The books can be put anywhere on the card except in a directory whose name starts with a dot. The device also creates a directory call "koboExtStorage". You shouldn't put anything in that. Anywhere else should be OK.

The processing is based on the extension. If the file doesn't match what the extension is, then the book will be ignored. And it will probably prevent processing of other books. I would suggest removing all the CBR's from the card and putting a single epub or text file on the card to make sure it is being seen properly. Then, put a one or two CBR's back and see if they work. If that works, it probably is an issue with one of the other CBR's. If it doesn't, we'll have to think some more.
