If you haven't tried Dresden Files yet, you could try that to make the wait shorter until next book is released or reread. It is exactly the same as Cinder Spires except a few little minor differences. You still have all the snarks and great story telling. Jim's books are all very similiar. Each series (Dresden, Alera, Cinder Spires) is well thought through start to finish. Check out his writing style and character / world building, and the only difference between the books are names and subject matter. |
I have read the Dresden Files. That is why I picked up The Aeronauts Windlass in the first place.
