An addendum to my previous post: I did find a situation where the Home button is actually needed. If I go into settings from within a book, or if I go back into a book from within settings by hitting the open book icon on the top left, I no longer have a way to get back to the home screen unless I reboot.

I don't have a paper punch handy but I think when I can get to one I'll probably punch a hole in the middle of the felt circle so I can have a Home button, but it'll be a small enough hole that I'm not likely to hit it by accident.

Even if somehow that doesn't work this is better than leaving the Home button wide open. That's a pain. This is a minor issue.
