None of them are what I would call "action-packed," but I still think they're very-much worth it (with the exception of the Soldier Son Trilogy). The books set in her Realm of the Elderlings universe all tie together, so I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend anything other than starting at the very beginning (Farseer Trilogy) and proceeding in order of publication. Others will of course tell you that the Liveship Traders and Rain Wild series' can be read independently of the Fitz/Fool series', I just happen to disagree. I tried skipping Liveship traders and going straight to Tawny Man and had to stop and back up because I could just tell that subtle details were escaping me.

I have no experience with the books written under her own (Lindholm) name.
