Has anyone used this device to actually replace pen and paper? I'm a student and I'm wondering if digital notetaking is a truly viable alternative yet.
My primary concerns are the latency and durability of both the stylus tip and the screen.
1. Some people complain about the lag and say that it renders the device unusable for handwriting. Having watched numerous videos I'm still not sure if it's something that would greatly bother me, or something that I could overlook and get used to. I'm a science student so most of my notes would consist of equations and formulas. Does the latency "break the flow" too much to be productive, compared to pen and paper?
2. Any guesses on how often one would need to replace the tip, assuming 20 pagefuls of handwritten notes per week? Or is this simply not a realistic use case for this device?
Thanks.
