That's certainly true. Believe me, I'm using Calibre in ways that were never intended. I love the customizable database system for storing files that aren't even books. So I've explored all kinds of "novel use-cases" that run up against the limitations of Calibre. As long as you're aware of those limiitations, you can have all kinds of fun with it.
