Mine also, which is why I'm prepaid. I just get a 365 day expiry and then buy the data from my credit. I spend approximately $140 a year!! However, for some godforsaken reason, people want to ring me on the mobile instead of the landline... I guess they have gobs of available calls, where I have none included.

As far as the mobile router goes, I've been using one since the year dot, really... when I was working I needed mobile data and my 3GS could only be a hotspot when jailbroken and using an app called MiFi... worked well, but the phone's battery died PDQ... so I got a little router thing and never looked back. The other advantage is that you can use it with a number of devices, so not needing multiple sim cards. two will do for everything

my phone overheats when I use it as a hotspot, which I did, when between data accounts.
