No. This couple was given a house. They just had to pay the taxes. And do any repairs. The taxes were less than $200 a year. They said paying rent of $400 a month was cheaper.
They also said that paying rent to own $1200 for a used washer was cheaper than $300 for the same one new.
They are now mooching off their grown daughter.
