Hello!
Has anyone tried updating your library metadata on a VMware/Vbox Shared Folder?
I would like to see if i can use calibre as a shared folder in a Windows virtual machine, the Host machine will have no internet connection, but the Windows virtual machine will have internet connection, i would like to update the library metadata inside the guest machine.
I will be using the portable version of Calibre and attached the Calibre Portable folder as a Shared Folder in VMware as a Drive L: (library)
I tried running the portable version and was able to run Calibre but was hesitant in doing any changes to it (download metadata, rename books) because i have no way to backup the library.
Anyone tried this? any encountered problems? please advice. Thank you in advance!
