I was at my doctor's office Tuesday in a very urban area, but the building itself made the cellular coverage/strength really bad--only one bar. Phone worked fine for calls but just wouldn't do anything on data. So even urban areas can have spotty coverage, especially in large buildings made of steel and concrete. Fortunately the doctor office has a WiFi network they allow us to use. Certainly not safe for doing business/banking/buying, but if you want to check the latest weather, news, et cetera then it is okay.
