I'm hoping to use it for crossover stories, I'm considering adding a tag for each one manually but I'm hoping to not have to many tags and it would also let me search easier for other things.

Any ideas? Or should I just suck it up and make manual tags for all of them.
I set up my Library to use hierarchical series

Pern.Dragoriders
Pern.Harper hall

and one for alternate series (if 3 or mor, one of those is Various and the other is my favorite)

J.P. Beaumont , Johanna Brady

You can adjust Preferences: Searching (bottom) to look in both when using a 'find Similar'
