We seriously tossed up getting one but went for a whizzy standard machine that does zig-zag as well as straight stitch. It's great, we've had it a month and I haven't broken it yet. Admittedly I need to get heavier needles, I've broken a couple sewing zips onto bags. I'd like both but they take up so much space... although second hand ones are very cheap, we paid ~$OZ300 for ours, and could have got an overlocker for the same price. With a cutting foot (so nice to have).

(it's actually smaller than the table, but not a lot)

Hmm, gadget list... I'm a gadget collector. Well, except my liseuse which I lost.
  1. desktop computer
  2. main camera
  3. cellphone (just a standard cellphone, nothing fancy)
  4. laptop computer
  5. battery drill (new!)
  6. waterproof toy camera
  7. TIG welder

(there are more )
