Um, no. The 'jet air' threading they're talking about? Tried it and failed also.
Working at a quilt shop that sold several brands of machines, I was able to try all of them, and even take classes from the owner.
I came away knowing in my heart that the serger was
"the Debil's Machine" Seriously.
However, I could sell fabric to a nudist colony............so she kept me.
