For an E-Ink ereader (meant for reading books) you do not need 1GB RAM. Which is why ereaders don't usually come with that much RAM.
Without that much RAM, the browser won't fare so well and video is a nonstarter.
Video is also a nonstarter because you can't get Flash on mobile devices (well, you can but it sucks).
Maybe HTML5 video could be arranged, but that is still -- unfortunately -- not available everywhere.

Well the main thing i would like to do on the kindle other than reading books is to be able to actually load up any page i want and surf and get the information i need without it crashing back to the homescreen.
I mean i know when you highlight a word on a kindle if you are connected to wifi it automatically brings up wikipedia but many times i need to search other sites for references ect (i'm mainly a non-fiction reader),and although i can tolerate the slow experience of the 'experimental browser' 8 time out of time even if it loads the page it will crash, other ereader's that feature web browsers don't do this and actually function so i think amazon should prioritize this feature, and with the i.mx 7 cpu they could probably have the best ereader based web experience out there.
And yeah i kinda said the youtube thing more as a joke, but according to goodereader the i.mx 7 is able to playback video's smoothly ala ipad.
