An actual usable browser on the Kindle E-Ink is very unrealistic.
Video-enabled even more so.
For an E-Ink ereader (meant for reading books) you do not need 1GB RAM. Which is why ereaders don't usually come with that much RAM.
Without that much RAM, the browser won't fare so well

and video is a nonstarter.
Video is also a nonstarter because you can't get Flash on mobile devices (well, you can but it sucks).
Maybe HTML5 video could be arranged, but that is still -- unfortunately -- not available everywhere.
