the weird colors look like the result of the person running a screen filter program to change the temperature of their display (mainly to reduce blue). I'm using one right now on my tablet.

If anything, this actually makes the screen shot more convincing, not less. After all, if somebody is going to fake a screen shot, why use such an unconventional palette.
