Thank God, finally
SOLVED: edit batch tool config file! Also, press both refresh
AND back to get it in the mood

tl;dr: Malware destabilized t62, constantly crashes system.tool. Firmware update won't load, and rockchip batch won't recognize t62.
Malware has invaded my boyue (t62d). It installed
('Apus launcher' '360 security' and some porn) apps to SYSTEM APPS, probably amongst others unseen. I keep getting a notification, like 100 times a minute, 'system.tool has crashed'
and if I manage to press it rapidly, once a minute I can get one command into the ereader. I used this to try and disable (since they're system apps now) the above listed apps. took over an hour and didn't help.
I've put the firmware as update.zip on the root directory, disconnected, nothing. I rebooted to recovery. nothing happens. I redid this multiple times.
I also followed nightboy's guide to unbrick.
I installed adb/fastboot, driver assistant, and rockchip batch. I used adb in recovery to wipe data, it (turned everything chinese, but is about the only thing that worked, yet it) didnt help because the malware isn't in 3rd party apps/data. I tried whilst off, holding 'refresh' (even tried 'back') (8+ sec,) then connecting, then letting go (after several sec.), nothing. I tried running rockbatch in compatibility mode (w8,w7,Wxp. im in w10) I tried different cables and ports (all of which work in adb.) Rockchip batch just won't recognize the t62 as connected.
If I could get
any one of those 3 methods to work, I'd be back in e-ink heaven. Given that I've been at this for countless hours (9+) and nothing seems to work...
