The building adjacent to my bedroom is being renovated. For about six weeks now they've been working on the inside and yesterday they started on the outside by putting up scaffolding up. They also wanted to put scaffolding up at the back of building, but that's in our yard. To have more room they asked if we would mind it if they cut the tree (no we don't, it's long overdue). They are now removing branches from the tree and I have a guy looking at me.
Hopefully the guys working on the outside are nicer than the team who replaced the roof about 15 years ago. At the time I had to keep my curtains closed when they were working because they kept shouting at me and making comments.
