She is home now, and so far appears to be healthy. The vet tells me that rat poison can take up to a week to manifest symptoms, so I'll be a wreck for the next few days. He's confident she'll be OK, and so is my husband, but I can worry any molehill into a mountain.

@poohbear_nc, I have posted to Everyblock Chicago, Nextdoor and Facebook. I posted pictures as well so people will know what it looks like if they see it. I hope no other dogs got into it, the thing was pretty well crumbled up when I saw it and picked up the remainder.
