Free (Kindle/Kobo/iTunes) Earls Just Want To Have Fun [Regency Action Romance]

Earls Just Want To Have Fun by Shana Galen is the 1st in her Covent Garden Cubs series of f/m Regency romance novels with action suspense and comedy elements about members of the ton who get involved with reforming criminals, this installment starring a pickpocket who may be a missing lady finding it difficult to escape her old world, free courtesy of publisher Sourcebooks' Casablanca imprint.

This, apparently, is being offered to "celebrate the 80th birthday of Regency Romance" which they exhort you to do with Sourcebooks' books. Are they counting back to some particular Georgette Heyer publication or something?

Currently free @ Amazon (available to Canadians & in the UK), Kobo & iTunes & Google Play (all available to Canadians). Price-drop-check linkage for B&N (also UK), where this will probably show up eventually.

And this has been the 3rd (non-repeat) free ebook thread of the day.

A little by default (if the Vegan Indian cookbook had been new or previously unmentioned, it would have won), but this one does get significant bonus points from my having once tried and found moderately enjoyable another Shana Galen romantic action comedy, which, while not particularly strong on the historicity of the Regency time period or the convincingness of believability of the portrayal thereof, was at least reasonably entertaining. So hopefully this will be another such. Also, A+ Cyndi Lauper reference.

Enjoy!

Description
Marlowe runs with the Covent Garden Cubs, a gang of thieves living in the slums of London's Seven Dials. But there was a time she went by a different name and when a private investigator thinks that she may be the missing daughter of a lord and lady, she is introduced to the spectacle of Society.

Maxwell, Lord Dane, is intrigued when his brother ropes him into his investigation of the fiercely beautiful hellion who is believed to be the lost daughter of the Marquess of Lydon. He teaches her how to navigate the social morass of the ton, but Marlowe will not escape the Cubs so easily. Instead, Max is drawn into her dangerous world, where the student becomes the teacher and love is the greatest risk of all.

Suspenseful and passionate, Earls Just Want to Have Fun is a captivating historical romance. Fans of Julia Quinn, Sabrina Jefferies, and Elizabeth Boyle will love this story that combines action and mystery with enchanting romance.
