I've used Adblock Plus and Ghostery for a long time now, and never had this problem
they tend to be conservative and block known bad things.
NoScript is a bit of a hardcore approach -- and you'd better expect any site that doesn't work to most likely be your fault.
@AprilHare, try using the Site Inspector to see what is loading.
