I have spent some ttime thinking about your question and I have to admit that there isn't another electronic gadget I'd have any difficulty giving up except possibly my wristwatch. I rarely ever watch TV (maybe an hour a year), I do not own a DVR or TiVO (in fact I'm arguing with Verizon about why I have to pay for a DVR when I don't want it for FiOS TV), I use the telephone but could care less about it (except for emergencies), never use a portable music player . . . I guess I'm just the atypical consumer: I'd shoot someone who'd steal my Reader, but the rest of the stuff, I'd help them haul out. My wife, however, . . .
