In case you are talking about a single person using the same email across multiple devices:
I do not want manufacturers, or google or whomever to cross-link my account to other devices/sites. Plus, if one of them gets hacked, I do not need to worry about the rest of them.
I usually use various addresses in an attempt to make my registration the least useful for anybody that blackmailed me that way ;-).
In some cases I sold the device and just passed over the login to registration site to the new owner so they do not have to bother.
In case you are talking about multiple folks with the same type of device, there are such initiatives - like the BugMeNot plugin for browser that uses the same registration for the same site for all people out there.
I also like to use the mailinator server.
You can just invent an address like
NotMyEmailAddress@mailinator.com or
YouAreBloodyRacketeers@mailinator.com and then head to mailinator.com and have a look at the registration email. Please note that mailinator.com is notorious domain, so many sites refuse to use it as a registration address. So mailinator has numerous alternative names - aliases that you can use. Just search for Mailinator alternative name
