... and the fact that you now have at least 2 SKU's and have to convince retailers to stock both, inventory both (including one which is likely going to move much slower at $40 more), extra inventory costs for the manufacturer etc. While it would seem like a simple solution it's likely not that easy. And at the crux of the problem is still the tiny subset of heavy users (who are a small subset of overall users) for whom the extra memory is must have feature.
