That depends. I don't remember how my STG was setup and can compare better to the 2013 Glowlight. Overall I think it is an improvement, but there are some changes I don't like.

Good:
You can now sort on items within the library like Magazines and Newspapers in addition to books.
You can delete items & move to cloud from the device rather than the website only.
My Files now shows with images like Books.
Home screen is better with more options to select.

Bad:
Images are too big. As a result they only show title or author. I miss seeing both.
My Files is no longer organized by folder view.
Now you have to select a menu button to choose between grid image view or list view. I preferred the icons to select.
