Status update.
After communicating with Dasung we agreed that it was best for me to get a refund.
Apparently there is work to be done in order to manufacture a monitor without problems and this will still take some time.
I got my money back, however i am still willing to repurchase the monitor if and when all problems are sorted out.
Although i've had some issues communicating with them sometimes, overall i respect their effort to deliver a quality product and i am satisfied with the refund.
I couldn't communicate with others regarding their experience, so i don't know if the problem that my monitor had was a general issue.
I only know that the person i contacted in youtube posted that he has problems refreshing the screen (running the monitor at 800x600 resolution didn't fix this) as he states in the comment section of his youtube video

It will be really great if we have at some point a working, problem-free, sturdy e ink monitor!!
